When Discord asks for a phone number, add the country code and the number exactly as shown, then ask Discord to send the code.
The SMS code appears in your account, usually within a minute or two. Type it into Discord. If nothing arrives, cancel or let the order expire and the credits return to your balance.

Most failures come from a handful of causes. Here is what each looks like and what to try.
Discord may refuse certain numbers outright, and its help pages say that some kinds of numbers are not supported. Cancel that order and try a number from a different country instead of retrying the same one.
Discord links a phone number to one account at a time. A temporary number may have been used on Discord by someone else earlier. Request a fresh number rather than waiting.
Check that the country code and digits match exactly, then wait a couple of minutes before asking Discord to resend. Requesting many codes in a row can make Discord pause sending, so space your attempts out.
If Discord says you are trying too often, stop. Retrying quickly usually makes it worse. Wait before the next request, and use a different number when you do.
The number is yours only for the order. Once it is recycled, you cannot receive later texts on it, so account recovery by SMS may not work. Turn on two-factor authentication in Discord and save your backup codes right after verifying. Follow Discord's terms and your local laws.
